Victoria joined the Raise Your Hand Texas team in 2020 as a Research Fellow and, later, Research Associate before transitioning to the Charles Butt Foundation team. Prior to Raise Your Hand Texas, Victoria was a kindergarten teacher, and she is also the founder and host of her own podcast, #TeacherLife, which serves to amplify and empower the voices of everyday teachers.
Victoria has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago, as well as a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education from the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently completing her Masters in Educational Policy and Planning at the University of Texas at Austin.
In addition to reading and learning everything and anything about education policy, Victoria also enjoys rock climbing, long-distance hiking, road tripping, eating delicious food, and obsessing over her cat, Leo.
