Cheryl Fisher

Cheryl Fisher is a two-time Charles Butt Foundation alum. She attended both The Art of Leadership (2014) and Leadership: An Evolving Vision (2019) through Harvard University’s Principals’ Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. Cheryl grew up in Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, and after graduating from Cy-Fair High School, she received her Bachelor of Science in elementary education with a specialization in early childhood from Southwest Texas State University. She returned to CFISD to teach kindergarten, and obtained her Master of Education in Elementary Administration from The University of Houston. She continued to serve in CFISD as an instructional specialist and assistant principal, and was named the principal of Keith Elementary School in 2009. After eight years at Keith, Cheryl was selected to open the newest K-5 campus in CFISD in 2017, Wells Elementary School. Cheryl is in her 25th year in CFISD and her 13th year as principal.

As a parent to three active CFISD students, Cheryl spends a lot of her time outside of school supporting them in their activities. She also enjoys time in her pool, traveling, and spending time with family. Cheryl has remained actively involved in the Charles Butt Foundation and is excited about this opportunity to bring alumni together to continue advocacy and lifelong education for all in Texas!
