Jorge Mendez currently serves as the Principal of Plains Secondary 5-12th grade in Plains, Texas. Jorge graduated from Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Mathematics and received a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Texas Tech. He is the first from his family to attend and graduate college, which he is proud to say that others in his family have followed. He has just completed his 17th year in education and 14th in administration.
He proudly lives in the community he serves. Jorge and his wife Sharon enjoy attending their daughter’s stock shows and their son’s high school events.
