Ms. Tara Sublette has completed her 30th year as a public educator in Texas. She currently serves as principal of D.P. Morris Elementary in Mansfield, Texas. Over the course of her career, she has accumulated a wealth of experiences and served in different leadership capacities. She received her bachelor’s degree in English/elementary education from the University of Texas at Arlington and a master’s degree in reading at Texas Wesleyan University. Tara has also earned a Gifted & Talented Certification, Principal Certification, and Superintendent’s Certification. During the summer of 2013, she had the privilege of attending the Harvard Graduate School of Education and participated in Leadership: An Evolving Vision. She is the proud parent of two children and enjoys spending time with her family.
