This week, we held a hybrid — both in-person and livestreamed — panel discussion on the recently released 2022 Charles Butt Foundation Poll. In-house Foundation staff provided some background and key takeaways from the poll, followed by a panel of experts representing different aspects of education in Texas.
Each panelist shared what struck them about the poll results and then discussion unfolded about who Texans trust to make educational decisions, what types of offerings Texans want schools to provide, how a strong or weak sense of student belonging changes how Texans think about many aspects of their school experience, and much more.
