A My teaching life is a bit stressful because I have virtual and face to face students. I believe I’m handling it as best as I can.
A Texans should know that districts are doing the best that they can to follow safety protocols to keep our students and staff safe.
A I believe that my education touched base on what I would see in the classroom, but it wasn’t until my clinical teaching that I actually learned what I was getting myself into. No book could’ve mentally or emotionally prepared me to be in my own classroom, but I know I had the proper education, support, and determination to pull through.
A I communicate with parents and let them know what’s going on and ask them, “what is something that I can do to engage your child?” I usually get a list or some fun facts to help me connect with them better. I make videos of myself for them with detail about what we’re doing in class and what is expected of them.
A I love the effort I see in my students.
