Great teachers understand their job is to equip students to become critical thinkers, even if they don’t pursue a career in chemistry or calculus. In our latest Voices on Teaching video, Evin Eitelijorge, a chemistry teacher at Klein High in Klein ISD, explains this goal. He also comments on how rewarding teaching is, to the point that if one out of 100 of his students doesn’t succeed, it hurts.
