About the Texas Center for Blended Learning

The purpose of The Texas Center for Blended Learning (TCBL) is to serve as a professional development, coaching, and technical assistance provider to support blended & personalized learning instructional practices within the State of Texas that result in:

  • more effective pedagogical models;
  • increased student achievement/closing the achievement gap;
  • increased student agency; and,
  • increased teacher efficacy.

The heartbeat of the TCBL’s work is in the Implementation Continuum–a tool developed by the CA Group for the Charles Butt Foundation. This Implementation Continuum has served as the core framework for over 8 years of on-the-ground work across the state of Texas through the Raising Blended Learners grant. The same Implementation Continuum is also referenced as an exemplar model on the TEA Blended Learning page under the research portion.

The Texas Center for Blended Learning is proud to provide a variety of offerings that are reimbursable by the TEA.
