Applications are currently open for the Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers!
The UTeach Dallas program, within the Science and Mathematics Education Department at The University of Texas at Dallas, is devoted to recruiting, developing, and retaining the next generation of secondary mathematics, science, and computer science teachers. UTeach Dallas is proud to have celebrated its 15th year of highly qualified teacher preparation in 2023! UTeach Dallas has earned a commendation from the Texas Education Agency in 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 for producing the teachers that Texas needs. The program is excited to begin its inaugural year of partnership with the Charles Butt Foundation and offer the additional opportunities the Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers provides for our future teachers.

Associate Director and Master Teacher, UTeach Dallas – Science/Math Education
Director, UTeach Dallas, Associate Professor and Department Head – Science/Math Education
